Access levels for user roles in eylog

Users with access to the web version of eylog can have one of two roles: Nursery Manager or Nursery Administrator. Each role is given access to different features of eylog.

Nursery Managers CAN:

  1. Access all parts of eylog for their nursery.
  2. Add children and practitioner profiles.
  3. Add other managers to the system.
  4. View and edit System Settings for their nursery.
  5. Add observations through the web system.
  6. Update daily diary, add reports, add learnings, edit the planning sheet, add accident/incident forms, add medicine forms.

Nursery Managers CANNOT:

  1. Access Global Settings.
  2. Access other nursery systems within their company.

Nursery Administrators CAN:

  1. Access all parts of eylog for their nursery.
  2. Add children and practitioner profiles.
  3. Add managers and administrators to the system.
  4. Access all nursery systems within their company.
  5. View and edit System and Global Settings for all nurseries.
  6. Edit existing draft observations.
  7. Update daily diary, add reports, add learnings, edit the planning sheet, add accident/incident forms, add medicine forms.

Nursery Administrators CANNOT:

  1. Add new observations through the web system.
