Adding accident/incident sheets as a parent
Parents can create accident/incident sheets to inform the nursery about any accidents or incidents that occurred while the child wasn’t at the nursery.
Adding an accident/incident sheet through the eyparent app
- Tap the icon in the bottom right of the eyparent app.
- Tap the Pre-existing accident/incident form icon.
- Tap Add images to add supplementary media.
- Use the Body Map to point out the location of an injury, if necessary:
- Tap Add Body Map.
- In the pop-up window, select the body part that has been injured.
- On the next page, you can draw on the body part you have specified.
- Choose between Free Hand drawing and using the Circle .
- Mark the injury on the image.
- Tapping Clear in the bottom left will erase any markings you make.
- Tap Save Picture or Done to add the body map.
- Fill out the rest of the sheet with details of the accident/incident.
- Tap Submit to share it with the nursery.
Adding an accident/incident sheet through the web portal
- Click on Children in the sidebar.
- Click on the child you want to view.
- Click on the Accidents/Incidents tab.
- Click on the Add button in the top left.
- The Date and Time field is automatically filled in with the date and time you created the sheet. This can be edited.
- Click Attachments to add supplementary media.
- If necessary, use the Body Map to point out the location of an injury:
- Click the Select button next to Add Body Map.
- In the pop-up window, click on the body part that has been injured.
- Click Done.
- On the next page, you can draw on the body part you have specified.
- Choose between Free Hand drawing and using the Circle in the top left.
- Mark the injury on the image.
- Clicking Clear in the bottom left will erase any markings you make.
- Click Save in the bottom left when you’re done.
- Fill out the rest of the sheet with details of the accident/incident.
- Click Submit to share it with the nursery.
