Adding managers

This article is only relevant to eylog-only customers.
Nursery managers can add children and practitioners to the system, view every child’s profile, customise settings, send messages, and access certain statistics about the nursery. You can add a new user to the system as a manager, or assign the role to an existing manager.

Adding a new user
  1. Hover over your profile picture in the top right.
  2. Click on System Settings
  3. Click on Managers on the left.
  4. Click Add New.
  5. Fill out the manager’s First Name, Last Name, and Email.
  6. Check the box next to Enable email notifications? if you want this manager to receive notifications through their email.
  7. Check the box next to Create Manager Login on App if you want the manager to have access on the practitioner app. This will also add the manager as a practitioner.
  8. Upload a photo for the manager, if you want.
  9. Select which nursery they manage from the Select Nurseries list. Hold the Ctrl key to select multiple nurseries.
  10. Write an Introduction for the manager, if you want.
  11. Click Submit.
Assigning an existing user
  1. Hover over your profile picture in the top right.
  2. Click on System Settings
  3. You’ll be taken to the Nursery Details tab.
  4. Choose a manager by clicking on their name in the Select Manager field. You can select multiple managers by holding Ctrl.
  5. Click Submit.
Notes
If a manager has been added as a practitioner, you can access their profile through the Practitioners tab, as well as the Managers tab in System Settings.
