  1. Within session types, we’ve introduced new options to give admins greater flexibility when applying funding and discounts within multiple rate session types for as per times/days. This ensures entitlements and discounts are calculated accurately per applicable session when using the Multiple Rates - As per Times/Day setup.
    1. New checkboxes now show next to each session block, allowing you to specify if to exclude from funding or discount.
    2. Priority dropdown to set the order in which funding is applied across session blocks.

  1. Tax-Free Childcare (TFC) as a payment method. We’ve improved the System Settings layout for payments by grouping related features within Invoices/Payments with new tabs for:
    1. Invoices – the existing Invoice Settings screen.
    2. Payment Methods – Direct Debit (GoCardless), Payment Gateways, and the new Tax-Free Childcare option.
With Tax-Free Childcare, users with the right permissions can now enable or disable Tax-Free Childcare as a payment method by entering the Nursery Postcode and Ofsted ID. When enabled, parents can connect to their HMRC account to authorise eyworks, link the child's TFC account then make payment using TFC balance via the parent app. Disabling TFC will remove it as an payment method on eyparent.

  1. Limited access role for parents. A new "Limited Access" checkbox has been added to the Child Profile > Parental Details to support privacy needs. When a parent is marked as Limited Access, the parent will only see their own details in the parent app. Other parents' details will be hidden on the parent app, when the checkbox is not marked then such parents with full access can view all parents details. As such, if parent A is marked as Limited Access, then they will only see their own details within the Parental Details tab in the parent app and parent B will still see details of all parents (A and B). This has no impact to the child-related updates and records but will only see their own details on the parent app.

  1. Funded hours allocation logic for consumables. A new Allocation Rule setting has been introduced for products/services using the As per Time Intervals rate type with Funded Hours as the applicable hours. This update provides greater flexibility when managing overlapping sessions (e.g., full-day with AM/PM products). You can now choose between two allocation rules:
    1. As per priority – Funded hours are allocated in order of their assigned priority.
    1. As per Hours in Sequential Order – Funded hours are allocated sequentially by session start times for all blocks in a day across the week.
  1. Funding Settings – Term Time Only and Stretched options. We have improved how funded hours are managed by separating maximum funded hours for Term Time Only (TTO) and Stretched Funding. Children marked as TTO will validate against TTO maximums, while children marked as Stretched will validate against Stretched Funding maximums.
