Booking absences

As a staff member, you can request absences through the eyemployee app. 

Viewing absences
  1. Sign in to the eyemployee app. 
  2. Tap the View my absences button on the  home screen.
  3. On the Absences screen, you’ll see your remaining holiday and sickness entitlement. Tapping on the current year will bring up a drop-down menu where you can switch entitlement years. 
  4. Below, you’ll find your list of absences and their approval statuses. Tap on an absence to see more details. 
Booking absences
  1. Sign into the eyemployee app. 
  2. Tap the  icon in the bottom right.
  3. Tap  Apply Absence.
  4. Fill out the form with details of the Start and End Dates of the absence, the Type of Absence, the Reason for your absence, any additional Notes (optional), and the Hours used in current absence. 
  5. At the bottom of the form, there is a summary of your current Holiday and Sickness Balance. You can also see whether the hours for this absence will be Deducted from Entitlement and whether it is a Paid absence. 
  6. Tap Apply.
