Changing a staff member’s contract type
If a staff member’s contract type is due to change from a permanent one to a temporary/casual one during their employment, or vice versa, you’re able to schedule it from the Contract/Entitlement tab of their profile.
- Go to the Staff page.
- Click on a staff member’s name to be taken to their profile.
- Click on the Contract/Entitlement section in the sidebar.
- Click on the Make Temp/Casual button, or the Make Permanent button, depending on the staff member’s current contract.
- Choose when the staff member’s contract will change from the Effective Date field.
- Along the left is the staff member’s previous Contract Hours (per week), Contract No. Days/Week, and Contract No. Days/Year (holiday days). Fill in the new contract details on the right.
- Click Save.
- The page will automatically update with the new contract settings once the Effective Date is reached.
