Children grid/list/map views

There are three ways you can view the information on the Children page: Grid view (the default), List view, and Map view.

To change between views:
  1. Click on the green drop-down menu in the top right (this will be labelled either Grid, List, or Map depending on what view you’re currently on).
  2. Choose the view you want to see.
Grid view
The Grid view is the default way of seeing the information on the Children page. Children are shown as boxes containing their First and Last Names, URN, Age, Current Room, and Key Person

The icons along the bottom are shortcuts to parts of the Child Profile. The  icon brings you to Child Scheduling brings you to Invoices brings you to Funding, and  lets you Edit the information in the profile. The  icon will download the profile as a PDF to your browser.

In the top left are the Filters. Clicking on this will allow you to filter children by Branch, profile details (as in the Search bar), Cohorts, Dates, and if they’re Active. It will also let you change how the children are sorted. Click Apply when you’re done.

You can type keywords into the search bar  in the top right to return any children who have matching keywords in their profile.

The icons next to the search bar let you Add Child , Send Child Profile Form , change Children Room Movement , Import Child Data , and Bulk Delete Bookings .

In the bottom left, you can use the drop-down menu next to Showing to choose how many children you want to see per page. You can move between pages using the arrows in the bottom right.

List view
The List view displays select parent information in a table (or ‘list’) format. From left to right, these columns are Child, Parent Name, Parent Email, Emergency Contact (yes/no), Bill Payer (yes/no), Parental Responsibility (yes/no), Authorised to Collect (yes/no), Create Login, and eylog Access. Under the last two columns, you’re able to perform certain actions.

The Create Login column shows whether a parent has activated their account on the parent portal. If so, it will display as Activated, if not there will be a button called Create Login which, when clicked, will send an activation email to the parent’s Primary Email. This email can be resent.

If you’ve selected the Create Login option, you will then be given the ability to give the parent eylog Access. Click this to activate it.

Checking the boxes next to each child/parent lets you select them. Clicking the box at the top (next to Child) will select all rows on the page. Once selected, you will have the option to use bulk actions. Click on the Bulk Actions button in the top right to select whether you want to Create Logins for all selected parents, or give them all eylog Access.

Clicking the arrows next to each column will order them alphabetically or by status.

Map view
The Map view lets you see the locations of your children relative to the location of your nursery branch (marked with a ). Click on a child’s icon to open their profile in a new tab.

The eymanage map is connected to Google Maps. Clicking the location markers for landmarks will give you the option to view them in Google Maps.
