Creating a custom URL for your careers portal

Creating a custom URL for your careers portal

In a company containing many nursery branches, with multiple job postings each, it's useful to be able to link potential candidates to only the branches or jobs that are relevant to them. On eyrecruit, you can do this by creating a custom URL. These are essentially links to your Careers Portal which have filters (such as location and job category) pre-applied. However, unlike just applying a filter to the Careers Portal, with custom URLs candidates will be unable to find any jobs you don't want them to see.

To make a custom URL:
  1. Go to  > Global Settings.
  2. Click on Recruitment.
  3. Go to Careers Portal > Custom URL.
  4. Click on the  icon.
  5. In the pop-up, enter the URL Name. This is not the URL itself, but how you'd like to identify it on the list.
  6. Select which Nursery/Location to create a URL for. You may select more than one.
  7. You can also select the Job Category and Job Type to be shown in the URL, though these are optional. For these, you can only select one option each.
  8. Click Save.
  9. The URL will appear in the list. Click on the  icon to copy it.
