eylog lets you create menus for your nursery. These can alternate weekly, and different menus can be assigned for different groups/rooms or age groups.
The What I Ate Today tab of the daily diary is automatically filled in according to the menu for that day.
Creating a menu
- Hover over your profile picture in the top right.
- Click on System Settings.
- Click on Food Menus.
- Click on Add Menu Group in the top left.
- Choose a Name for the menu group, as well as what time frame it will be active for (such as a year or a term). Note that the time frames of menus cannot overlap.

- Type in the Menu name.
- In the drop-down field for Applicable for, choose whether you want this menu to apply to All Children, specific Age Groups, or certain Groups/Rooms. If this menu is only for certain age groups or groups/rooms, there will be a button to the bottom right of the food menu that allows you to add an additional menu for other age groups or groups/rooms.
- Type your food items into the boxes in the table. You can change the names of mealtimes in System Settings > Daily Diary & Registers.
- Click Save when you’re done.
- You can add additional menus to the menu group by clicking on the icon under the Weekly Menus column.
