Creating a post



On eyengage, you can use posts to update staff and parents about what’s going on at the nursery. 
  1. In the top right, click Create New > Post.
  2. Beside Sharing To in the top left, choose who you want to share the post to between Nursery, Room, and Tags, then use the field below Sharing To to select which ones. Your options will be populated using data from staff and child profiles.
  3. Beside Audience in the top right, choose whether this post is for Parents, Staff, or All.
  4. Type the content of the post into the What’s Happening? field. You can add web links by pasting the URL here. Use the  icon to add emojis. 
  5. Under the  Add Media field, click on the box to upload documents, pictures, or videos.
  6. Under Select Category, sort this post into a category and sub-category.
  7. Check the box next to Require Confirmation if you want readers to mark a post to confirm they’ve read it.
  8. Check the box next to Disable Comments and Likes if you want to remove the option for readers to leave comments and likes on this post. 
  9. Click Publish.
