Customising child: staff ratios
The Child:Staff Ratios used in the Occupancy and Staff Scheduling tabs can be customised in System Settings.
Adding a new ratio
- In the top right, click on > System Settings.
- Click on Other Settings on the left.
- Click the icon in the top right to create a new ratio.
- Give this ratio a Name and Description.
- Type in the Age Group Lower and Age Group Upper in years. These determine which ages this ratio applies to.
- Type in the desired Ratio for this group of children.
- Click Save.
Editing ratios
- In the top right, click on > System Settings.
- Click on Other Settings on the left.
- Click on the icon to edit a ratio.
- Make your edits. If you want to change the ratio, click Modify Ratios, then enter the new ratio and the date in which this new ratio will come into effect.
- Click Update.
- You'll see a summary of ratio changes below.
You cannot create multiple ratios with the same age groups.
