Customising DBS reminders

In the Documents page of the Staff Profile, you can upload a staff member’s DBS number. Doing this will prompt you to input information on when the certificate was issued, and when it will expire. When the certificate is about to expire the system will automatically send a reminder to apply for a new one, as long as [[CertificateExpiryDate]] has been entered into the email body.

To customise DBS reminders:
  1. In the top right click on  > Global Settings.
  2. Click on Email Templates & Letters.
  3. Go to Staff > DBS.
  4. Click on the  icon on the right to edit the template.
  5. Make your changes to the email. Placeholders enclosed in square brackets will be substituted with information from the system when the email is received. Typing [[ will give you a list of available placeholders. You can find out what each placeholder does in eymanage here.
  6. In Reply To, select which email address should receive replies from this recipient.
  7. Click Save when you’re done.  
To customise DBS Reminders for all nurseries, go to  > Global Settings, then continue from Step 2.
