Disabling/enabling parent absence reporting
By default, parents have the ability to report their child's absences through the eyparent app. When enabled, parents can use the Report Absence button to add absences to their child's schedule directly from the app. However, managers can choose to disable the option through eylog settings, in which case the Report Absence button will be greyed out and unusable.
- On eylog, hover over your profile picture in the top right, then click on System Settings.
- Go to Daily Diary & Registers.
- Uncheck the box next to Allow parents to report absence to disable it. If it is already disabled, then check the box to enable it.
- Click Submit.
