Exporting invoice reports for Sage

If you use Sage to manage your nursery's accounting, you can use the Invoice Amount Report to export data from eymanage, ready to import into Sage.

Generating the Invoice Amount Report for Sage

  1. In the sidebar, click on   Reports > Standard Reports.
  2. Select Invoice Amount Report from the list.
  3. Use the fields to customise what information to include in the report.
  4. Under Report Format, select View in Sage format. This will bring up a table that allows you to edit some of the fields that are imported into Sage:
    1. Nominal Code: Under 'System Field', you have two options that affect how this field will appear on the report. Selecting 'Custom' will allow you to type in the nominal code that appears for all invoices. Selecting 'As per nominal codes' will draw on the the nominal codes that have been set up in Global Settings. This will break down the price of an invoice into separate rows, each displaying the amount charged for each session type and product/service, along with whatever nominal code has been assigned.
    2. VAT Code: Type in the VAT Code that will be assigned to every invoice in this report.
    3. Tax Amount: Type in the Tax Amount that will be assigned to every invoice in this report.
    4. Reference: This field will act differently depending on what option you selected for the  'Nominal Code' field. If you selected 'Custom', then the 'Reference 'field will likewise allow you to type in a custom reference that will appear for all invoices on the report. If you selected 'As per nominal codes', the 'Reference' field will be set to 'Session/Product Name', so that you can see what session/product each row of an invoice corresponds to.
  5. Click View to generate the report.
  6. Click Download CSV.
