eyengage: Creating a poll
On eyengage, you can use polls to gather opinions or information from parents and staff.
- In the top right, click Create New > Poll.
- Beside Sharing To in the top left, choose who you want to share the post to between Nursery, Room, and Tags, then use the field below Sharing To to select which ones. Your options will be populated using data from eymanage.
- Beside Audience in the top right, choose whether this post is for Parents, Staff, or All.
- Type the content of the post into the What’s Happening? field. You can add web links by pasting the URL here. Use the
icon to add emojis.
- Below, type in the options for the poll into the relevant fields. Click + Add option to add a new field.
- Under the
Add Media field, click on the box to upload documents, pictures, or videos.
- Under Select Category, sort this post into a category and sub-category.
- Check the box next to Allow to choose multiple options if you want readers to be able to select more than one option on the poll.
- Check the box next to Disable Comments and Likes if you want to remove the option for readers to leave comments and likes on this post.
- Click Publish.
