eylog: Creating custom report templates



Reports are a way for parents to see how a child is progressing. You have a choice between Summative and Transition reports. Transition reports are much like Summative reports, except that they give more of a sense of how a child has progressed since starting at the nursery.

These reports can either be the standard report templates provided by the system, or custom made. Creating a custom report gives you the freedom to choose which framework(s) and assessments are included in the reports, as well as letting you add or remove additional text fields.

To create a custom report template:
  1. Hover over your profile picture in the top right.
  2. Click on System Settings.
  3. Click on Report Templates.
  4. In the top right, click on Create+ > Summative Report or Transition Report.
  5. Give the template a Name and a Summary.
  6. You can hide or show sections on the report by toggling  . All underlined fields can be edited. 
  7. By default, your Main Framework will have been added to the template. You can add additional frameworks by clicking + Add Additional Framework at the bottom of this section.
  8. Click Save Template when you’re done.
