Getting Started: Inviting parents
Creating a login for a parent will give them access to the eyparent app. Through this, they can view invoices and payments, sign their child in and out, communicate with the nursery, and see their child’s observations, reports, daily diaries, registry, accident sheets and medicine forms. It will also allow parents to access eyengage.
Note that there are slight differences in this process if you're an eylog-only customer, which are pointed out where necessary.
Inviting a single parent
- Click on
Children in the sidebar. - Click on the name of the child to be taken to their profile.
- Go to the Parental Details tab.*
- Check the box next to Create Login/Share Data with Parent for the parent of choice.
- Check the box next to eylog Access to give the parent access to eylog features.*
- Click Save/Submit
Inviting multiple parents*
- Click on
Children in the sidebar. - Click on the Grid menu in the top right.
- Select List from the drop-down menu.
- Check the box next to a parent's name to select them.
- Once you have multiple parents selected, click on the Bulk Actions menu in the top right.
- Click on Create Login from the drop-down menu.
- Click Confirm.
The parent will receive an email inviting them to download the eyparent app, where they'll be able to set up their account.
