Inviting parents

Creating a login for a parent will give them access to the parent portal. Through this, they can see their child’s schedule, observations, reports, daily diaries, registers, accident sheets and medicine forms. It will also let any parents added as members to access eyengage.

Note that there are slight differences in this process if you're an eylog-only customer, which are pointed out where necessary.
  1. Click on  Children in the sidebar.
  2. Click on the name of the child to be taken to their profile.
  3. Go to the Parental Details tab.*
  4. Check the box next to Create Login/Share Data with Parent for the parent of choice.
  5. Check the box next to eylog Access to give the parent access to eylog features.*
  6. Click Save/Submit.
The parent will receive an email containing their login details and a link to the parent portal where they can see a limited version of the system.
