eylog: Installing the practitioner app
The main way practitioners access the eylog system is through their tablets, using the practitioner app. Using a portable device makes it easier for practitioners to use the features of eylog while taking care of children.
You can download the practitioner app from the Play Store on Android devices, or the App Store on iOS devices.
The eylog practitioner app can only be used on devices with a screen size larger than 7 inches.
- Go to the Play Store/App Store on your tablet.
- Search ‘eylog’ in the search bar.
- Install the eylog app to your device.
- On the web version of eylog, hover over your profile picture in the top right.
- Click on System Settings.
- Click on System. This should bring you to a screen with a QR code.
- On your device, open the eylog practitioner app.
- You may get pop-ups about app permissions. For the best user experience, tap Allow for all of these.
- The app should automatically open your device’s camera. Use this to scan the QR code.
- Alternatively, on the web version, click Manual Install - Show Serial ID and Password. On the app, tap Enter serial ID and password and type in the Serial ID and Password exactly as they appear.
- Tap Install.
