If you have both eymanage and eylog, then some of the settings will be carried over from the Branch/Nursery settings on eymanage. As with the eymanage, they’re split into nursery and chain settings.
We’ll just go over the fields relevant to what we cover in this guide.
Nursery Details
- Hover over your profile picture in the top right.
- Click on System Settings.
- You’ll be taken to the Nursery Details tab, where you can make changes.
- Click Submit when you’re done.
Nursery Name: The name of your nursery. This is a required field.
Address: The first Address Line and the PostCode are required fields.
Telephone: Your nursery’s contact phone number.
Website: Your nursery’s website URL.
Email: Your nursery’s email address.
Registration Number (OFSTED): The nursery’s OFSTED registration number.
Which children are accessible to a key person: Choose whether you want practitioners to be able to access All children on the system, only the children within their own Group, only their Key Children.
Photo of the nursery: Click Choose File to upload a photo that you would like to display in the top banner of eylog.
Chain Details

- Click on Global Settings.
- You’ll be taken to the Chain Details tab, where you can make changes.
- Click Submit when you’re done.
Nursery Chain Name: The name of your nursery chain/company. This is a required field.
Address: The first Address Line and the PostCode are required fields.
Framework Group: This helps to determine what standard frameworks you have on the system.
Telephone: The company’s phone number.
Website: The company’s website.
Email: The company’s email address.
Company Registration Number: The company’s registration number.
Quick Observation Tag: The observation Tag that you use when making a quick observation.
Hide assessments from parents in learning journey?: Check this option if you don’t want parents to be able to see their child’s assessments through the parent portal.
