Products and services are anything that the parent pays for in addition to scheduled sessions.
Setting up products and services can go quite in-depth. Since this is a guide for new users, we’ll just look at the essential points:
To create a product or service:
In the top right click on > System Settings.
Click on the Products and Services tab on the left.
Click on the button in the top right to create a new product/service.
Choose a Name and Description so you can quickly identify what the product/service is.
Under Type, select whether this is inventory (product) or a service.
For Rate Type, choose Flat Rates.
Put the price of the product/service under Price (Sales).
Put the purchase cost to your nursery for providing this product/service under Cost (Purchase).
Add extra information under Comments/Notes.
Other optional things you may want to consider toggling are:
Price included in session rates: Checking this option will make it so the parent isn’t charged additionally for the price of product/service. It is included in the standard session rate.
Show on Child Scheduling Screen: Checking this option will mean the product/service appears as an optional addition when scheduling a child’s sessions.
