eymanage: Scheduling staff absences

  1. Go to the  Staff page.
  2. Click on the name of the staff member to be taken to their profile.
  3. Click on the Staff Scheduling tab on the left. 
  4. Click on the all-day area under the day to mark absent. 
  5. Fill out the details of the absence in the pop-up window:
    1. Type of Absence: Choose what type of absence this is.
    2. Start Date: The date the absence begins.
    3. Finish Date: The date the absence ends.
    4. Reason: Select a reason for the absence. Your options are linked to the type of absence.
    5. Hours used in current absence: The hours of entitlement used for this absence.
    6. Paid: Check this option if this is a paid absence.
    7. Deduct from Entitlement?: Select whether this absence will deduct from holiday entitlement, sickness entitlement, or neither.
    8. Remove schedule on these dates?: Select whether or not pre-scheduled sessions for this staff member will be deleted upon the creation of this absence.
  6. Click Save.
