Filling out the child profile

The All About Me section of a child’s profile contains general information about the child. It is split into two tabs: Profile and My World

To get there:
  1. Click on Children in the sidebar.
  2. Click on a child to bring up their profile.
  3. Make sure you’re in All About Me > Profile.
Filling out the Profile tab
As many of the fields are self-explanatory, let’s go over the ones that have system functionality. 

First/Last Name: The child’s first and last name. These are required fields.

Date of Birth: The child’s date of birth. The system uses this to calculate the child’s current age.

Start Date: What day the child started/will start at the nursery. In eymanage, you can only book sessions after this date.

Group: Choose which group this child belongs to.

Key Person: Choose this child’s primary key person. This is the practitioner in charge of this child.

Secondary Key Person: Choose this child’s secondary key person.

Allocation Options: Select which cohorts to allocate to this child.

Add Parent: Click this button to add a parent for this child. Click the button again to add more, or click Remove Parent in the bottom right to remove one. Fill out the information in the fields that appear:
  1. First/Last Name: The parent’s first and last name. These are required fields.
  2. Email: The parent’s email address. If the same email address is used for another child, a pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm this is correct. If so, the children will be linked as siblings. 
  3. Mobile Number: The parent’s mobile phone number.
  4. Share Data with Parent: Check this box if you want to give this parent access to the parent portal.
Link Sibling: Click this button to select a sibling for this child from other children on the system. If the two children’s parents have the same email address, this is done automatically. 

Filling out the My World tab
The My World tab of a child’s profile contains helpful information about their circumstances and preferences. These can be filled out by a user, or by the child’s parent through the parent portal if they have access.

To give parents access to All About Me:
  1. Hover over your profile picture in the top right.
  2. Click on System Settings.
  3. Click on the  icon next to Parents.
  4. Click Page Access.
  5. Check the box next to Include all about me form on parent login?
  6. Click Submit.
