Introduction to email templates

Email templates are an easy way of sending the same information to multiple people, while keeping the content personalised. This is done by using placeholders that draw from information in the system, such as a staff member’s First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth.

When you're typing up an email template for eymanage, entering [[ will give you a list of information that can be drawn from the system.

For example, if you were sending an email to a staff member named John Smith, The Dear "[[StaffFirstName]] [[StaffLastName]]" would appear as "Dear John Smith" when it is received.
