Managing practitioner PINs

When practitioners are added to the system, they are automatically given PINs, which you can view on the web version of eylog. PINs are necessary for logging into the practitioner app, and signing practitioners in and out. 

The process of viewing and generating a new PIN differs for practitioners and managers.

Practitioners

Viewing the PIN

  1. On the web system, click on  Practitioners in the sidebar.
  2. Click on a practitioner to bring up their profile.
  3. Click the Show/Hide PIN button.

Generating a new PIN

  1. On the web system, click on  Practitioners in the sidebar.
  2. Click on a practitioner to bring up their profile.
  3. Click the Reset PIN button.
  4. Click OK in the pop-up.

Managers

For the sake of security, managers are not able to view their own PINs through the system. However, if you forget your PIN, you are able to set a new one through your profile.
  1. On the web system, hover over your profile picture in the top right, then click on  My profile.
  2. Type a new set of four numbers into the New Pin field.
  3. Type them again into Confirm New Pin.
  4. Click Submit.
