Notifications on the eyparent app

When you download eyparent for the first time, you'll get a pop-up asking if you'd like to allow notifications for this app. If you agree, then eyparent will inform you whenever your childcare setting has shared an update. Tapping on the notification on your device will take you straight to the updated section. For example, if you've received a notification about an accident/incident sheet, then tapping on it will automatically open up the sheet.

If you miss any notifications, you can find a list of them on the app:

1. On the eyparent app, the number next to the  icon displays the number of unseen notifications. For instance: .
   
2. Tap on the bell  to open the list.
   
3. Tap on a notification to be taken to the updated section.

If you've turned off notifications for this app, you can turn them back on through your mobile phone settings:

1. Go to Settings > Notifications.
   
2. Scroll down to see a list of apps.
3. Tap on eyparent to open its individual notifications settings.
   
4. Turn on Allow Notifications.
