  1. Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) feature adds an extra layer of security to the login process by requiring a verification code in addition to username and password. This feature has two methods of receiving a verification code either via email or authenticator app, depending on your settings.
Company Admins can enable MFA for all companies via Global Settings > Security > Multi-Factor Authentication. This can be optional, mandatory or can be enforced, giving users a deadline to set up MFA before it becomes required to access the system. Users will be prompted to set up MFA via a pop-up or can manually do so via My Profile > Multi-Factor Authentication. Depending on the chosen method, users will either receive a code via their email or use an authenticator app to generate the code.

Practitioners may find it easier to use the authenticator app, as verification codes sent via email will go to the manager’s email associated with the profile.

  1. Effective Date for Term Time Only (TTO); this update provides the ability to create and manage TTO events with start and end dates, ensuring the system handles scheduling changes based on term and holiday periods.
When the "Term Time Only" checkbox is selected on a child's profile, a pop-up will appear, prompting you to input an effective start date. This will be saved under the child’s events tab but will not be editable once created. When unticking TTO, a pop-up allows you to set an end date, it shows as default to the current date but editable.

When you choose a start or end date, the system will automatically remove the child’s holiday schedule beyond the selected date.

  1. Qualifications/Training Courses - Attachment Feature; you will now be able to upload, view, download, and delete attachments (e.g., certificates) when adding or editing training courses and qualifications.
A new "Attachment" column has been added to the qualifications/training table, where rows with attachments display an icon that users can click to view, download, or delete the file in a pop-up window.

In the staff qualifications/training report, attachments are visible when in edit mode, and users can view and download them. Upload functionality is restricted to the Qualifications/Training section only.

  1. Sensitive and Non-sensitive Events Visibility;  there is an update to how sensitive events are displayed, ensuring they are visible only to users with the appropriate permissions on the staff events, individual staff scheduling, branch calendar as well as the staff scheduling report. While maintaining visibility of non-sensitive events for all authorised users who currently have access to events on the staff events tab, individual staff scheduling and the branch calendar.
