Requesting absences as a member of staff

If you have a staff login on eymanage, you're able to request your own absences through the staff portal.
  1. Login to your staff portal.
  2. You'll be taken to your own profile by default. Click on the Staff Scheduling tab.
  3. Click on one of the days in the all-day row to request an absence.
  4. Select the Type of Absence
  5. Edit the Start and Finish Dates of the absence by clicking on the associated fields and selecting from the calendar. 
  6. Select a Reason for the absence (the options are tied to the type of absence you chose). If you choose Other, you can enter the reason into the Notes/Description field.
  7. Enter how many hours you're taking off in the Hours used in current absence field.
  8. Click Save.
This is only a request for absence, you will receive an email to inform you when your manager accepts or rejects the request.
