Sending a message to an employee
You can see a record of all communications by going to the sidebar and clicking on
Messages. This is also where you can send messages to employees. Depending on what setting you chose for
Message Delivery in
Nursery/Branch Settings, they will either receive these messages in the
Communication tab of their profile, or in their email inboxes.
Sending a message to a single employee
- Click on
Messages in the sidebar. - Click on the Employee tab in the top right.
- Click the
icon in the top right, next to the search bar. - Under the To field, type in the name of the employee and select them from the list.
- Type in the Subject, add an Attachment if necessary, and type your message into the text box.
- Click Send.
Sending a message to multiple employees
- Click on
Messages in the sidebar. - Click on the Employees tab in the top right.
- Click the
icon in the top right, next to the search bar. - Click on Select Multiple Recipients, just above the To field.
- In the pop-up window, click on the Rooms field to select which rooms recipients need to belong to.
- Below, a list will appear of all employees belonging to those rooms. Check the boxes next to their names to select them, or select All.
- Click Close.
- Type in the Subject, add an Attachment if necessary, and type your message into the text box.
- Click Send.
Sending a message to employees using a template
- Click on
Messages in the sidebar. - Click on the Employee tab in the top right.
- Click the
icon in the top right, next to the search bar. - Click on Select Template in the top right.
- Fill in the details in the pop-up window:
- Process: This is essentially the type of template you’re using. Either a Employee Letter or a Custom template.
- Template: The template you’re using. Which templates you can select depend on which Process you chose.
- Filters - Rooms: Click on this field to select which rooms you need recipients to be a part of.
- Filters - Tags: Click on this field to select which tags recipients need to have.
- Employees: Click on this field to choose which employee(s) you want to receive this email. Who appears in the list depends on what Filters you set.
- Click Add.
- You can edit the template if required, then click Send.
