Setting up reminders/notifications for events and documents

When setting up events and documents you have the option to turn on Reminders/Notifications, which will give you a notification when events or expiry dates are approaching.
  1. When creating an event or document type, check the box next to Reminder/Notification On for the Title Date you want to receive reminders for. This will bring up Reminder/Notification Settings
  2. Fill out the fields:
    1. Initial Process: These are the first reminder notifications you will receive. Typically, the notifications will not occur as frequently as the ones nearer the due date.
    2. Escalation Process: These are notifications that appear closer to the due day. Ideally, these will occur more frequently than Initial notifications.
    3. Frequency: How often you receive notifications: weekly, or daily. This will also affect whether notifications begin days or weeks before/after the due date.
    4. When: When notifications begin. Depending on what you selected for Frequency, this could be in days or weeks.
    5. Due On: For Escalation Process only. Whether notifications will start _ days/weeks Before Due Date, or After Due Date.
    6. Whom: Who receives the notifications.
  3. Fill out the rest of the document type details, then click Save.
