Setting up reminders/notifications for events and documents
When setting up events and documents you have the option to turn on Reminders/Notifications, which will give you a notification when events or expiry dates are approaching.
- When creating an event or document type, check the box next to Reminder/Notification On for the Title Date you want to receive reminders for. This will bring up Reminder/Notification Settings.
- Fill out the fields:
- Initial Process: These are the first reminder notifications you will receive. Typically, the notifications will not occur as frequently as the ones nearer the due date.
- Escalation Process: These are notifications that appear closer to the due day. Ideally, these will occur more frequently than Initial notifications.
- Frequency: How often you receive notifications: weekly, or daily. This will also affect whether notifications begin days or weeks before/after the due date.
- When: When notifications begin. Depending on what you selected for Frequency, this could be in days or weeks.
- Due On: For Escalation Process only. Whether notifications will start _ days/weeks Before Due Date, or After Due Date.
- Whom: Who receives the notifications.
- Fill out the rest of the document type details, then click Save.
