Signing your child in/out on the eyparent app

With eyworks, children can be signed in and out by scanning a QR code. Parents can either scan the QR code themselves using the eyparent app camera, or generate a code on the app for a nursery employee to scan.

Scanning a code through the app

  1. Tap the  Sign In button on the  Home screen.
  2. Select the child you'd like to sign in from the list.
  3. The app will use your device’s camera to scan the QR code given to you by your nursery provider.
  4. Your child will be signed in. The recorded time is taken from your device's clock.
  5. To sign a child out, tap  Sign Out and follow the same steps.

Generating a code on the app

  1. Tap the  Sign In button on the  Home screen.
  2. Tap on the  icon next to the child you'd like to sign in. 
  3. This brings up a QR code on the phone, which a nursery employee can scan with their device.
  4. Your child will be signed in. The recorded time is taken from your device's clock.
  5. To sign a child out, tap  Sign Out and follow the same steps.
