Switching between internal and external messages

Switching between internal and external messages

With our eyworks products, you can choose between two ways of receiving messages: Internal or External. These can be selected separately for parents and staff.

Internal Messages can only be read on the system, through the Messages screen for staff, or the eyparent app for parents. We recommend this option, since it ensures your messages are more secure.
External Messages will be sent to staff's and parents' external email.

Changing message delivery settings for parents
  1. Go to  > System Settings.
  2. Click on Parents.
  3. Click on the field under Message Delivery to switch between System Messages (internal), or Email (external).
  4. Click Save.
Changing message delivery settings for staff
  1. Go to  > System Settings.
  2. Click on Branch/Nursery.
  3. Under Message Delivery (Staff), choose between System Messages (internal), and Email (external).
  4. Click Update.
