Term Time Only for children
Marking a child as Term Time Only automatically removes any sessions scheduled during term holidays. Checking this option will also allow you to choose on which date this comes into effect.
- Click on
Children in the sidebar.
- Click on a child's name to go to their profile.
- Check the box next to Term Time Only. You'll see a pop-up window.
- Enter the date when Term Time Only comes into a effect in the Effective Date field (this will be filled in with the current date by default).
- Enter when this effect terminates in the End Date field. If you leave the End Date field blank, the child will be considered Term Time Only for as long as they're active on the system.
- Click Save when you're done.
Deleting Term Time Only for a child
As mentioned above, Term Time Only will automatically terminate for a child once the End Date has been reached. However, if the child was never meant to be Term Time Only (e.g. if the box was checked accidentally), you are able to delete the record of Term Time Only for that child. This will also automatically restore any sessions that were previously hidden because they occurred during term holidays.
- On the child's profile, click on Term Time Only. This will bring up a window.
- If an End Date has not been set, click on the End Date field and select a date that occurs after the Effective Date.
- Click Update. This will close the pop-up window.
- Click on Term Time Only again.
- Now that the End Date has been added, click on the
icon next to Event Name.
- Type DELETE into the pop-up window.
- Click Delete.
- Finally, make sure you click on Cancel to close the window. DO NOT click Save, since that will just create a new Term Time Only period.
