Turn on sensitive information for the employee profile

In Global Settings, you can mark Medical Details, and Payroll & Bank Details on the employee profiles as sensitive, meaning it can only be viewed by the user roles that are specifically given access. 
  1. In the top right, click on  > Global Settings.
  2. Click on HR in the sidebar.
  3. Click on the tab Employee > Sensitive Information.
  4. Click the  icon next to one of the employee profile fields to toggle whether it should be marked as sensitive. 
  5. Documents and Events can be marked as sensitive when creating Document Types and Event Types
  6. Click on the drop-down menu next to Access to sensitive information, and select which user roles are given access.
  7. When you're done, click Save.

If Line Managers are given access to sensitive information, they will only be able to see the sensitive information of the employees who have them assigned as a line manager on their profile.
