Using substages

Using substages

Sub-stages are a way of further organising your candidates without crowding your pipeline with extra stages. They can be used to keep track of how much progress has been made with that candidate within the larger stage. For example, you may use substages  in the Interview stage to sort between candidates who have booked, cancelled, or rescheduled an interview.

How to assign a candidate to a substage

  1. Click on the candidate's profile in the Pipeline or in the Candidates tab.
  2. In the candidate’s full profile, click on Select Substage under the replica pipeline view.
  3. Click on a substage to assign it to that candidate. Only one sub-stage can be assigned at a time.

Filtering by substage

  1. Click on the Pipeline tab.
  2. Next to the name of a stage, click on
  3. If the stage has substages, a drop-down menu will appear. The numbers next to each sub-stage show how many candidates have been assigned to it.
  4. Click on a substage to show only the candidates assigned to that substage in the pipeline. A red tag will appear to show that the stage has been filtered.
Notes
Notes
Sub-stages are tied to their larger stages, so they are reset when a candidate is moved to a new stage
