Viewing observations on the eyparent app



Observations are a way for nursery employees to track how a child is progressing in their development. Parents can view all published observations for their children in on their Timeline.

Viewing observations

  1. On your  Home page, the most recent observation will be shown at the top, under Latest Observation.
  2. To see earlier observations, tap the  icon to go to the timeline.
  3. You can quickly filter the timeline to display only observations by tapping on the  Observations button at the top. Tapping on it again will remove the filter.
  4. Tap on an observation to open it.
  5. Tap the  icon in the bottom left to 'love' the observation.
  6. Tap the  Comment icon in the bottom right to see any comments added to this observation.
  7. To add your own comment, type whatever you want to say into text box at the bottom, them tap  to post it. 

Downloading media

A practitioner may choose to attach media (photos, videos, or sound files) to the observation. If your nursery has the option enabled, you're able to download this media to your own device. 
  1. While viewing an observation, tap on the media you want to download.
  2. Tap the  icon in the top right.
