Customising fields in the enquiry profile

Some fields in the enquiry profile contain selectable options that can be customised by the user. These are mostly for internal reference, but some fields can be filtered in the pipeline. 

These fields are: Source, Contact, Reason, and Special Offers.
  1. In the top right, click on  > Global settings.
  2. Click on eyenquiries in the sidebar.
  3. Under Enquiries & Registration, the corresponding tabs for Source, Contact, Reason, and Special Offers will let you add and edit items for their fields in the profile (Lost Reason only has functionality when marking an enquiry as lost (find out more). 
  4. Clicking on one of these tabs will let you see the list of items that will appear as a selectable option for that field. There will be some items by default, but these can all be edited or made inactive.
Creating a new item
  1. Click on the  button in the top right.
  2. Type in the item’s name.
  3. Click Update.
  4. Clicking Reset will return the item to what it was before (in this case, blank) as long as you haven’t already updated it.
Making an item inactive
You can make the items in Source, Contact, and Special Offers inactive, meaning they will not appear as selectable options. Click the  next to an item to make it inactive, click it again to make it active.

Deleting items
​You can delete items in the Reason tab by clicking on the  icon.

Editing an item
  1. Click on the  icon to edit an item. 
  2. Delete the current Name and type in a new one.
  3. Click Update
  4. Clicking Reset will return the item to its former name, as long as you haven’t already updated it.

Making a field required
You can change the settings for a particular field, to make it required to fill out when creating a new enquiry. 
  1. Click on the  icon in the top right.
  2. This will bring up a pop-up where you can check the box to make the field mandatory. 
  3. Click Save.
Making a field required is only relevant when adding a new enquiry manually. These fields do not appear on the enquiry form filled out by parents.
