eyengage roles on different systems

eyengage roles on different systems

Customers can access eyengage through the web, the eyemployee app, the eyparent app, and the eylog practitioner app. However, each of these systems manages eyengage differently, with some providing the full range of features, while others only allow you to view, like, and comment on posts. Let's go through what you can do for each.

Web system

For users with access to the eyengage web system, there are no limitations to what features they can access beyond what user role they have.

Employees and Parents can:
  1. View posts and polls
  2. Participate in polls
  3. Like posts
  4. Add comments
Administrators can:
  1. Access eyengage on all nursery branches under the company
  2. Create posts and polls
  3. Add members
  4. Edit notification settings
  5. Create categories
  6. Delete moderators’ posts
  7. Delete comments
Moderators can:
  1. Access only the employee’s own nursery branch(es)
  2. Create posts and polls
  3. Edit notification settings
  4. Delete other moderators’ posts
  5. Delete comments

eyemployee app

When accessing the newsfeed through the employee app, no matter your eyengage role, you will only be given basic Employee access.

Employees, Administrators, and Moderators can:
  1. View posts and polls
  2. Participate in polls
  3. Like posts
  4. Add comments

eyparent app

Since this app is catered towards parents, users are only able to use the basic features.

Parents can:
  1. View posts and polls
  2. Participate in polls
  3. Like posts
  4. Add comments

eylog practitioner app

On the practitioner app, eyengage is only available to employees who hold an Administrator or Moderator role. Members with the Employee role will not be able to see the newsfeed. If you want an employee to be able to add posts and polls through the practitioner app, then an administrator first has to add them as a moderator.

Administrators can:
  1. Access eyengage on all nursery branches under the company
  2. Create posts and polls
  3. Add members
  4. Edit notification settings
  5. Create categories
  6. Delete moderators’ posts
  7. Delete comments
Moderators can:
  1. Access only the employee’s own nursery branch(es)
  2. Create posts and polls
  3. Edit notification settings
  4. Delete other moderators’ posts
  5. Delete comments
