Improved bank holiday charges for equally spread invoicing, the changes will reflect based on your invoice settings. We’ve improved how bank holiday charges are calculated for nurseries using equally spread invoicing to ensure invoices accurately reflect the charges configured for bank holidays, whether the holiday falls inside or outside the sample week. Holiday charges now respect the configured percentage for both sessions and products.
Holiday reductions now calculate correctly based on the percentage charged on the bank holiday.
Products excluded from the weekly calculation will now be itemised separately and charged at the correct holiday rate.
Where a bank holiday is not chargeable, sessions and products will no longer be incorrectly included in the holiday reduction.
Clearer session rates on invoices, with a new invoice setting to make session charges clearer and allows nurseries to display the actual day rate for sessions charged on a per-session basis. Show Day Rate In Unit Price can now be enabled in Invoice/Payment settings. When enabled, sessions charged at a per-session/day rate will display the actual day rate on invoices, rather than being converted to an hourly rate. Hourly sessions remain unchanged and continue to display their hourly rate. The setting is off by default so existing invoice behaviour remains unchanged unless enabled, and this applies to both invoices and invoice PDFs, helping make charges clearer for invoice-related queries.
Minimum booking fee improvement, v3 invoices can now have minimum booking fees removed directly from the invoice using the new delete option. This gives greater flexibility to waive a fee where it should not apply or where an agreement has been made, while automatically updating the invoice total and maintaining the existing minimum booking fee calculation logic.
