The communication tab

The Communication tab of a child’s profile keeps a record of all message and email communications with that child’s parents. Use the buttons in the top left to sort between Sent (as in sent by a user on the system) and Received (by a user on the system) messages. 

Viewing a message
  1. Click on  Children in the sidebar.
  2. Click on a child’s name to bring up their profile.
  3. Click on the Communication tab.
  4. Click on a message from the list to view it. Attachments are shown at the bottom of the page.
  5. Click on View Details in the top right to see the parent’s name, their Email address, the email’s Status, how many Opens it has, and how many Clicks it has. 
Sending a message
  1. Click on  Children in the sidebar.
  2. Click on a child’s name to bring up their profile.
  3. Click on the Communication tab.
  4. Click the  button in the top right.
  5. By default, All this child’s parents will receive the message. Click on the To field to change who receives it.
  6. Type in the Subject and type your message into the text box.
  7. You can upload an attachment into the grey box by dragging and dropping it, or clicking on the box and searching for your document.
  8. Click Send.
