Adding an event through the branch calendar

You can add nursery-wide events through the Branch Calendar.
  1. Click on  Calendar in the sidebar.
  2. Click on a date in the calendar to add an event. Holding and dragging will let you select multiple dates.
  3. Fill out the Name and Description.
  4. Edit in the Start Date and Finish Date, if necessary.
  5. Check Mark as Holiday if you want this event to be considered a holiday. If any staff work during this holiday they'll be paid the Holiday Pay Rate for their Job Title, or their normal rate if their job doesn't have a holiday pay rate.
  6. If you've marked this event as a holiday, you also have the option to mark it as a Branch/Nursery Closure. If so, you're given a few more things to edit:
    1. Percentage of rates to be charged: Type in what percentage of the original rates the parent will be charged for any bookings during this holiday. You can define a percentage for both the session price and the price of the products/services.
    2. Funding Applicable: Check this option if sessions booked during this holiday can be included in funding allocation.
    3. Staff holiday: Check this option if this event is counted as a staff holiday, meaning hours will be deducted from staff holiday entitlement.
    4. Remove staff schedule: Check this option if you want sessions to be removed from the staff schedule for this holiday.
  7. Click Save.
