Adding parent profiles to eyengage

Before adding parents to eyengage, you need to create a profile for their child.
  1. Click on  Children in the sidebar.
  2. Click on the  icon in the top right.
  3. Fill out the relevant information in each tab of the child profile. At the very least, you should enter the child’s First NameLast NameLegal Gender, and Date of Birth.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Go to the Parental Details tab.
  6. Tick the Parental Responsibility option for at least one parent, then fill out the First Name and Primary Email fields, at minimum.
  7. Click Save.

Creating parent logins

Parents can access eyengage through the parent portal or the eyparent app. You can create a login for parents through the child's profile.
  1. Click on  Children in the sidebar.
  2. Click on a child's name to open their profile.
  3. Got to the Parental Details tab.
  4. Tick the Create Login option for a parent.
  5. Click Save.
  6. The parent will receive an email with a link to help them set up their account.

Making a parent a member

Once a parent has received access to their parent portal, you'll have the option to add them as a member. Members are able to view and comment on posts. Find out more here
