Enabling Tax-Free Childcare on eymanage

Enabling Tax-Free Childcare on eymanage

If parents are eligible for Tax-Free Childcare (TFC), they can pay for their childcare through their TFC account. If Tax-Free Childcare is enabled on eymanage, parents can even do this through their eyparent app.

Tax-Free Childcare can be enabled separately for each nursery:
  1. Go to  > System Settings.
  2. Click on Invoices/Payments.
  3. Go to Payment Methods > Tax-Free Childcare.
  4. Enter your Nursery Postcode and Ofsted ID (if you're in England) into the corresponding fields. If you're in Scotland or Wales you'll need to enter your Care Inspectorate ID into the Ofsted ID field, and if you're in Northern Ireland you'll need to enter your Nursery Registration Number.
  5. Click Enable TFC.
  6. TFC can be disabled from the same screen by clicking Disable TFC.

Where can I find my ID or Registration Number?
Depending on your country, you can find your ID or Registration Number through one of the following links:

How do you set up TFC payments on the parent app?
For a guide on how parents can use their Tax-Free Childcare to make payments through the app, have a look at this article: https://help.eyworks.co.uk/portal/en/kb/articles/making-payments-through-your-tax-free-childcare-account-on-the-eyparent-app

Why are TFC payments failing?
There are several reasons why TFC payments might not be working on your system.
  1. The Ofsted ID, Care Inspectorate ID, or Nursery Registration Number may not have been entered correctly. Make sure you copy it into the field exactly.
  2. The parent might not have enough funds in their TFC account. Note that parents can only pay using their Cleared funds
  3. If parents have TFC accounts for multiple children, they must link each one separately.
