Understanding the learning journey
The Learning Journey is where you can see all of the observations practitioners have completed for this child. Incomplete observations can be found in Draft Observations.
Viewing the Learning Journey on the practitioner app
- Log in as a practitioner to see the list of children you have access to.
- Tap a child’s picture to select them.
- Tap the Learning Journey icon at the top.
You can find the filters at the top. On the practitioner app, they appear in a pop-up window when you click the
icon. The filters determine which observations you can see on the page:
- From/To: Filter which dates the observations were made.
- Observation Field Filter: This lets you see only observations that have certain fields filled out.
- Framework Filter: Filters by framework type. You can only select frameworks enabled on the system.
- EYFS Area Filter: Filters by which Areas have been filled out on the Legacy EYFS assessment, if Legacy EYFS has been selected in Framework Filter.
- Observation Tag Filter: Filters by observation tags.
- Observation: Typing a word into this field will show only observations containing that word.
Click View or Done to apply the filters.
