- Documents & Events now available on the employee app! The documents and events features, already available on the employee profile web login has now been implemented on the app delivering a consistent cross-platform experience. Employees can view, add, and edit Documents & Events directly within the app (respecting the permissions set in System Settings > HR > Documents & Events). The section is accessible from the main menu and uses a clear tabbed layout for Documents & Events, with each record displayed in a card format. Attachments can be opened within the app and downloaded where required. Additionally, notifications are supported for Documents & Events activity.
The “+” button on the home screen also supports adding new documents or events with the Add Document and Add Event options, respecting the same add/edit permissions configured on the web settings. All fields, layouts, and behaviours align with the web version, ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Qualifications & Trainings now available on the employee app! The qualifications/trainings feature, already available on the employee profile web login has now been implemented on the app delivering a consistent cross-platform experience. Employees can now manage their Qualifications, Training Courses, and Training Entitlement directly within the app via a new menu item, with a structured tabbed layout for easy navigation.
The “+” button on the home screen now includes; Add Qualification and Add Training Course. Available qualification and training course lists are dynamically filtered based on those linked to the employee’s job title.
- An enhancement has been made to the existing TOIL overtime request flow to support more accurate overtime calculations by allowing break time to be deducted from total hours worked. A new optional “Break Duration” field has been added to the overtime request form. When a break duration is entered, the system automatically deducts the break time from the total overtime hours. The approval flow and existing user experience related to how the feature works remain the same.
- We have improved the Newsfeed filters in the eyemployee app, filters for post category and subcategory are now more seamless to use making it easier to find relevant updates. This also includes a Reset option so filters can be cleared easily and the full newsfeed view restored.

We’ve enhanced the medicine forms to record clearer, more complete medication details and support safer record keeping. The form now includes additional fields to record when medication was issued, why it’s being given, and key reference details such as batch/lot numbers. A new option also confirms whether the medicine was prescribed by a medical professional. To improve accuracy, we’ve added validation to ensure issue dates are not set in the future and that expiry dates always comes after the issue date.

The Funding Loop Report has been enhanced to include additional fields and a more detailed daily breakdown of funding and charges. This update adds key information such as Primary Carer NI Number, Extended Hours Reference, Two Year Old Reference, as well as daily Funded Sessions (Mon–Fri) and daily Charges (Mon–Fri). These values are now included in both the report results and the CSV export.
Where available, the report will also display a day-by-day breakdown of funded sessions, hours and associated charges based on the child’s schedule and funding allocation. This detailed breakdown and accuracy is supported when using version 3 invoices, as well as when your funding settings are not configured as “as per average of the academic year”.
No changes have been made to the existing report generation flow or filters, this update simply expands the dataset available, improving visibility of funding information and helping nurseries meet reporting requirements.

- Events now available on eyengage! Whilst you already have the option to create a post or poll on eyengage we have added the ability to create an event with structured details, including date, time and location. Members can RSVP to the event with responses that you define. Use the RSVP Date field to add a deadline for when members can respond to the event. Once this date has passed, members can no longer select any of the options.
Feature Suggestions
We have added a new feedback and feature-request system designed to provide clearer communication and better visibility into our product development process. This update reinforces our commitment to listening to customer feedback. While feature suggestions have always been an important part of how we improve the product, we want to make that process more visible, structured, and responsive going forward.
We’ve brought over existing feature suggestions to ensure past feedback continues to shape our roadmap. Some historical product team comments were not included, so our team is actively revisiting suggestions and adding updated context to provide clearer visibility.
You can access this on eyworks by clicking on the Feature Suggestions link in the footer and on eylog by hovering over the

button and clicking Feature Suggestions.
