eyemployee refers to any software that employees can use to view and manage their data on eyworks. The ability for employees to access their staff portal through the web or eyemployee app is provided for free to any nurseries that are subscribed to at least one of our paid employee products.
What features can employees access?
Employees have easy access to their profile, which contains all the information that the company should know, as well as important documents and events.
Check the schedule for the coming week by just glancing at the eyemployee app. If the nursery has turned the option on, employees may also be allowed to book some sessions for themselves through the staff portal.
Request absences directly from the eyemployee app. When absences are approved, the corresponding hours are automatically deducted from an employee's holiday/sickness entitlement, which can be viewed on the contracts/entitlements screen.
If the company allows employees to convert overtime hours into entitlement, they can log their overtime in the eyemployee app and have the entitlement added automatically once the instance is approved.
Keep track of qualifications and training
Use the profile to view all the qualifications and training related to an employee's role, letting them keep track of expiration dates, training courses, and progress towards achieving new qualifications.
Keep in touch
Receive updates from the company securely through the Messages screen.
Engage with the newsfeed
Access the newsfeed to view posts that provide updates on events around the nursery. Comment, like, and participate in polls.
Why are some of these features not available?
The features that can be accessed through eyemployee depend on what products the nursery has. For example, eypeople is our HR management software that allows for the in-depth management of staff schedules, training, and absences. Unless the nursery is subscribed to eypeople, employees won't be able to access many of the same features in eyemployee.
