What features do I get with eypeople?
Keep all your employees' essential information in one place, including their personal details, medical information, contact emails, and payroll data.
Set up rooms and activities through settings, then create employee rotas through the system. Use the Staff Scheduling screen to see a summary of what employees are scheduled into which room.
Set up employees' contracted hours, holiday entitlement, and sickness entitlement on their profile. When absences are booked through the staff schedule, entitlement is automatically deducted. Employees can use the staff portal to request absences for themselves, which have to be approved by a manager.
If your setting uses Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) to compensate employees for overtime, eypeople gives you a way to track it. Either a manager or an employee can make a record of an overtime instance, and the corresponding hours are added to their TOIL entitlement, which can be used to book absences. A record of all overtime can be found on the Overtime (TOIL) screen.
Assign qualifications and training courses to job titles, so you can keep track of what qualifications/training are needed for each role. Mark qualifications/training courses as enrolled, in progress, or completed on the staff profile, and set up specialised training entitlement that can be drawn upon for training days.
Keep a record of important documents (e.g. contracts, CVs) on the staff profile for easy access and viewing.
Add upcoming events (e.g. annual reviews, maternity/paternity) to the staff profile and track them on the calendar.
Give your employees the ability to access the staff portal through the web and the free eyemployee app. Here, they can see their profile, their contract/entitlement, book absences, use tasks, and access their messages.
Use tasks to keep track of what actions are due to be completed. Managers can assign these tasks to employees, or employees can add personal tasks for themselves through the staff portal.
Use the Messages screen to send communications to one or more employees through the system. Customise email templates to create automated or generic messages for various purposes, including staff letters, shift reminders, training reminders, and confirmation emails.
Use our list of standard reports to easily export information on the system for payroll, or to get a sense of where improvements can be made in managing human resources.
Will I have access to staff profiles if I don't have eypeople?
All of our eyworks products allow you to keep a record of staff on the system, although without eypeople you will be restricted to only basic features.
