Depending on how your nursery has set up online booking, you may be able to request sessions for certain rooms through the eyparent app, or even book them outright without needing approval. If this isn't available to you, then your nursery may not have these features enabled.
Requesting sessions
Depending on how your nursery has set up the online booking, you may be able to request funded sessions, or only extra sessions, which are not included in funding hours.
If you have multiple children enrolled at this nursery, you can switch between them by clicking on the child's name in the top left.
Go to >Sessions.
You'll see a list of booked sessions for the current week. Use the arrows in the top left to cycle between weeks.
Tap book a session in the top right. Note that you cannot book overlapping sessions.
Fill out details of the session in the pop-up window:
Room: This will be predefined with your child's current room.
Session Type: Choose the type of session you want to request. Depending on your nursery's settings, you may only be allowed to request preferred sessions.
Start/Finish Date: How long you want the session to run for.
Start/Finish Time: What times of day this session starts and ends. Usually determined by Session Type.
Repeat: Select whether you want this session to repeat over a number of weeks.
Repeat on: If the session repeats, choose which days you'd like it to recur.
Tap Request to Book, or Request & Book Another if you'd like to request another session immediately after.
You’ll receive a communication confirming that the session has been requested. You will also be notified if the booking has been accepted or declined.
